On this TED conference, recorded on February 2006 in Monterey – CA, statistics guru Hans Rosling uses an amazing new presentation tool called the Gapminder, to present data that debunks several myths about world development. Rosling is professor of international health at Sweden’s Karolinska Institute, and founder of Gapminder, a nonprofit that brings vital global data to life. Drugs are sometimes used to assist a sexual assault. Because of the effects of these drugs, victims may be physically helpless, unable to refuse sex, and can't remember what happened. The drugs often have no color, smell, or taste and are easily added to flavored drinks without the victim's knowledge.
